American Radio Archives
Over many years, Pacific Professional Pioneers accumulated one of the largest private collections of memorabilia pertaining to the history of radio broadcasting. Included in this collection are original recording transcriptions, scripts, photographs, publications, equipment, sound effects, and other radio memorabilia.

In January of 2001 a joint venture was created between Pacific Pioneer Broadcasters (now Hollywood Media Professionals) and the Thousand Oaks Library Foundation to create the American Radio Archives. When the collections of HMP and Thousand Oaks are combined it will become the largest collection of radio material in the United States. All material will be carefully cataloged and will be available to researchers and scholars. Plans are underway for a brand new American Radio Archives addition to the Library to house the collection.
